Pastina

There’s something wonderfully soothing about a warm bowl of pastina made with butter and milk. When our girls were little, my mother-in-law used to make it for their breakfast when they stayed overnight. Both age 30-something now, they still crave it from time to time. I can’t say I blame them. It’s simply delicious, and I’ve no doubt it brings back memories of many happy mornings in their grandmother’s kitchen.
